Why He's A Big Bully

  1. For starters, he is a very rude and mean spirited character, and treats almost everyone around him like dirt, even if they did nothing wrong.
    • In one scene, he bumped Thomas while he was moving, and called him "Shrimp."
    • To add salt on the wound, he is very short tempered, as he bullies Philip for something that wasn't even his fault.
  2. One of his infamous quotes: "Yeah, well you better watch where you're going, shorty! Or you might end up being recycled," which is just cruel and very mean spirited.
  3. He is very competitive as well, as he will do anything to win a competition, and he'll even go as far as to cheat.
  4. He is shown to be very destructive, as while he was chasing Philip, he literally bashes through Gina's flatbeds.
  5. In another part of the scene, he bumped Philip so hard he nearly fell into the turntable well.
  6. Despite getting his comeuppance as mentioned in RQ#3, he showed no remorse for any of his actions.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. His design is pretty cool.
  2. John Schwab did a great job voicing him.
  3. At least Vinnie got his comeuppance when Thomas and Ashima saved him from Philip, causing him to crash into a pylon.

Reception

  • Because of his bad behavior, he was a hated character among the Thomas community, and is considered by many to be one of the worst characters, alongside Billy, Charlie, The Logging Locos, Ace, Nia, and Rebecca.
