What's wrong with getting angry at fictional characters! At least they're not real.
Like DarkMatterMan said, you can still hate a character, but please don't use such unsavory language or behavior when doing so; it just doesn't make you look good around other people, and they'll think you often get so worked up over a fictional character of all things.
I'm sorry. It's just those characters shouldn't do horrid disgusting things like torture, drugging and tormenting someone that's not even that bad out of revenge like that even if it's to avenge a loved one. Elektra is yes an assassin but what she does is justified and is out to protect innocent people from corrupted crime bosses and villains. Jeremy Locke and Philip Carson should've never did those things to her and should've pacify her instead the right way by talking to her nicely and saying she still has a good heart instead of this vicious inhume hate they have on her and treating her like a subhuman.
Well, like you said, character flaws are a good thing, and they add more to the character, and if you say that these characters are terrible and shouldn't have done the things they did, then why do you defend the ones from Black Lagoon for being what they are?
The ones from Black Lagoon actually do their job of what they are and at least they still have great charm and most of them still act human. Example: Revy is a pirate so her being narcissistic, arrogant and sadistic is okay and though she still has some moral and human standards in her from time to time. Meanwhile Philip and Jeremy are supposed to be idealistic pacifist lawyers but they screwed that up fast by doing things a inhumane psychopath would do and trying to mix pacifism and revenge together which is an insult to pacifism and can't truly be mixed together since pacifism is trying to stop those who fight and give peace and revenge is wishing harm, death and violence on the ones who took your beloved things.
The Major from Hellsing is a very good example of an inhumane well written complete monster. He was meant to be an inhumane, horrid being as he was an evil Nazi war general who wants to conquer England and he loves war since he's an evil war general which makes perfect sense of why he does evil things and he did get a great satisfying defeat in the end of Hellsing.
