Lucas Nickle is the protagonist of The Ant Bully. He is voiced by Zach Tyler Eisen, who also voiced Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Pablo in the first season of The Backyardigans.

Why He Sucks

1. To start with, his design looks nothing like his book counterpart, it could've better if it keeps the book design.
2. He didn't respect his parents and had littler regard for his sister, even though he was never very cruel, heartbreaking line.
3. The way he got bullied by neighborhood kids, especially Steve, is really generic and cliché, because of his childish and bratty behaviour.
4. He played far more than the typical "Milo" brat and was considered to be a rip-off from Mars Needs Moms (which is released 5 years later) than someone that's actually reliable, since both share the same problem.
5. He has the pointless "Butt-Monkey" role, since all of ants (except Hova, Fugax and maybe Kreela) treat him, because he flooded the ant colony.
6. He is unlikeable, annoying, selfish, bratty, whiny, and irritating for the most part.
7. His screams feels irritating, forced, and poor, notably when Zoc and other ants kidnapped him to the anthill after he sees Zoc in a fount of glasses, standing on potato chips (this actually happens since he is tiny and naked after he sees underwear in bed).
8. Despite that he learned the lesson, it was too late to have him character development.

Redeeming Qualities

1. His voice acting by Zach Tyler Eisen is decent.
