She's already on Great Characters Wiki FANDOM, mostly as Rose Quartz. But for the wrong reasons. Should she be on the goodie wiki or this baddie wiki?

Now for those of you who know all about Pink Diamond's nature, you would say that I'm absolutely mad just for asking this question and she should be held on this wiki without bail. And I would understand. Pink is selfish, unsympathetic, immature and left her teenage son to deal with all of the problems she left alone, and it's been showing even before it was revealed that Rose is Pink. Even as a "hero", she was irresponsible, and the lies she told the gems left them almost mentally broken as soon as they found out, along with abandoning Spinel for 6,000 years just to play in her new colony. Because of what she's done, she's believed to have caused the war.

But, since even Rebecca Sugar stated that Pink Diamond is pretty much bad news, we can classify her as a villain. She may not be an enjoyable villain, but she might be one of the first completely genuine villains we've had. Villains, or at least antagonists, pose a challenge for the main character. Through all of the gems the main characters have battled, poofed, bubbled and saved, the biggest challenge the Crystal Gems faced was trauma and grief. And realistically, the source of their trauma and grief was Pink Diamond. Think about it, when you rewatch the show you'll realize that almost every wall the gems came up against was Pink's fault. So now instead of looking up to her, the Crystal Gems, including the fans, have a certain distaste for her. But what if that's a good thing? Since almost everything is Pink's fault, her irresponsible, heartless deeds were holding the entire show together. And when villains go on this wiki, it's because they're bad villains. You don't hate Pink Diamond because she's a bad villain. You hate Pink Diamond because she's a bad person. Which they acknowledge in the show. Which means Pink Diamond has done an even better job at being a villain than Yellow, Blue and White all fused together, just because of how horrible she actually is.

Rose isn't a hero anymore, she is an official villain. Her actions made you despise her, and the show knows it. As you've noticed, almost every video that critiques Pink critiques her as a person, not even as a fictional character. Because what Pink did was even more personal than dictators overcome with grief, since they were even a victim to Pink. It seems almost too realistic. Pink Diamond..is the most effective villain we might have ever seen on Cartoon Network, which is something worthy of TWO of the Great Characters Wikis.

But this might be a controversial choice. We can talk about it if you want.

It's very descriptive and does make a point, but I don't know if Pink Diamond is a villain. I know she's done things that were unforgivable, but she had good intentions and didn't like the colonies that the Diamonds created. She faked her shattering to take on a fake identity as Rose Quartz, and Rose Quartz being said as the Gem that shattered Pink Diamond was what caused the war against Gems and Diamonds. Her acts weren't really much as villainous acts, but more like mistakes that made a lot of Gems suffer because she was against the Diamonds' way of their colonies.

It is safe to assume that Pink Diamond is the real villian, and I wonder what would happen if she gets revived.

I don't care if Pink Diamond is a villain or not, she did the right thing for Earth. Still, I don't even understand why people look at Steven Universe as "good vs evil", I think it either gray or just badly-written morality. That's why I made a page about Blue Diamond to criticize her morals

Well classifying Steven Universe characters as heroes and villains is genuinely good for the sake of this wiki and criticism purposes just because people used to put villains and antagonists on this wiki just because "wahh they're mean and they did bad things". That's why even if Pink Diamond did horrible things, I'd still be skeptical in putting her on this wiki if she's officially classified as a villain, especially since her backwards morality is something I see pretty realistic which I already explained.

Feh! Best for me to not question more about morality sake and keep my opinions entitled as possible. For now, I should be watching the movie version to find more question!

MAJOR SPOILERS Pink Diamond is a complete monster, and that goes for MUCH more things she did than abandoning Spinel. Don't get me wrong, that made me absolutely LOATHE her, but even before that, she was still a complete, and utter, VILLAIN (yes, I said it). Think about it. I mean, really think about it. She never started off as someone who believed that everyone deserves freedom and fought an oppressive empire, she was ONE of those oppressive overlords who kept on pestering her older sisters for a colony because since she was a Diamond, she was "entitled" to it. And then, she decided to trash it because she DIDN'T WANT IT ANYMORE!!! And before you start telling me "Oh, she wanted to save the world", don't. Cause even if she did, she did it in such a horrible way, it just put Earth in more danger, if anything. She was started a war that resulted in thousands of HER PEOPLE fighting and killing each other, and Pink was COMPLETELY OK with watching them do that. Then, she faked her shattering, and don't give me the "Oh, she was escaping her abusers!", cause A: That isn't even CLOSE to why she did that. She did it because she wanted to escape her duties as a Diamond so she could stay on Earth with the Funny Humans (and speaking of the humans, remember when she laughed in Greg's face when he tried to fuse with her? That proves that she just thought of humans like pets! She liked them, but didn't respect them. So she's the EQUIVALENT OF THE OTHER DIAMONDS!). And B: She knew the Diamonds better than everyone, so she knew perfectly well what they're reaction would be if she was shattered. Oh, and remember the Off Colors? The defective gems forced into hiding because then they'd be shattered? If she was REALLY the wise and loving leader we thought she was, she would've at least tried to save them. But no, she didn't because she DIDN'T THINK IT WAS HER PROBLEM!!!!!!!! Remember when Steven said she hurt everyone even if she didn't want to? Well, whether intentional or not, she DID HURT EVERYONE!!!!!! She hurt Pearl by forcing her to keep her secret and bottle up her emotions (and considering she was in a romantic relationship with her MASTER despite that, doubles as emotional abuse), she hurt Greg by leaving him alone to take care of their son, she hurt Amethyst by not bothering to even TRY to help her with her insecurities, she hurt the other Diamonds by traumatizing them with her fake death, she hurt Bismuth by bubbling her in Lion's mane for wanting to shatter gems (something SHE had been tricking her OWN PEOPLE into doing without caring in the slightest), she hurt Lapis by getting her trapped in to mirror for hundreds of years, and she hurt Steven by dumping everything she did on him. And don't tell me "She's just flawed, and that makes her more human and interesting", or "It's the other Diamonds' Fault, cause they never taught her kindness, just meaness!" Because there's a BIG difference between being flawed, and being A TOTAL MONSTER!!!!! Everyone makes mistakes, but the things Pink Diamond did are much more than mistakes. And, your decisions in life are your own. No one is accountable for what YOU do, only YOU. So don't tell me it's Yellow, Blue, and White's fault, cause it simply, isn't, true. I could go on, but I think you get my point: Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz, was a manipulative, remorseless, egotistical brat, that people NEED to stop defending, because she did absolutely NOTHING to deserve it. And you know the worst part, SHE'LL NEVER BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HER ACTIONS, BECAUSE, LIKE I SAID EARLIER, SHE GAVE UP HER FORM TO DUMP EVERYTHING ON STEVEN!!!!!
