A lot of people say Death Note is an awesome anime, but there are some people that hated Light Yagami. A YouTuber named PhantomStrider listed Death Note as #1 for his Top Five Anime I Hate That Everyone Else Likes" solely because of Light.
I like Light Yagami. He doesn't belong here.
I've only seen a few episodes of Death Note, so I can't say much. But they say he acts like a childish, insecure, and pretentious little jerk who's goal of purging the world's population to wipe out evil slowly developed into wanting to become a god, and be worshipped as one.
Well, he’s not as murderous as Kid Buu.
