"Remember what I always tell you..." is a quote from Season 4, and as a Featured Article this sets a bad example since the page is supposed to address Peter from Season 8 onward. I cannot immediately think of a quote from Peter that demonstrates his flanderization.
If flanderization deteriorated him, then why don't this show's creators revert his flanderization? Don't they understand that fans don't like him anymore?
The writers have clearly stopped caring about quality at this point, so it's highly unlikely that Peter's flanderization will be reverted.
Why did they stop caring about the quality? I don't understand this.
Bendezar, you really gonna ask this question? Really? They stopped caring because they ran out of ideas for the show as time went on. Not everything lasts forever. Family Guy is only continuing on because of how it is promoted and advertised. That’s all the executives at Fox care about.
I am not going to ask about it anymore.
Peter Griffin is still likeable in seasons 4 thru 6
Yeah, but he’s more self aware.
I know.
Not really. His unlikableness started in season 4, but got even worse as it continued. He lit Meg's hat on fire in season 5.
Yeah, but only slightly in season 4, but instead of being self aware, he became a complete retard. Slight retard, self aware, complete retard
To stop fighting just moved to modern not season whatever
Actually, Jeff has a good point. Seth MacFarlane (or the writers) clearly forgot that Peter's supposed to be a bumbling, Homer Simpson-esque father; dumb but well-intentioned.
I don’t get why I’m not supposed to mention Peter Griffin in the articles.
As in comparing Peter Griffin to certain other characters? I specifically say not to do that because it has nothing to do with the character themself.
Eh heh, oh.
In my opinion, he at least more considerate than Eric Cartman since he doesn’t taunt mainly Jews, feels remorse more than Eric, and he’s more nice to his mother than him.
