Ned Flanders: He was unlikeable at times. Marge Simpson: She’s sometimes unlikeable, like in the episode “Large Marge” she said that Doctor Manjula was awful, when he mistakenly put breast implants in her, not intentionally. Squidward Tentacles: Became a constant punching bag. Meg Griffin: Same as Squidward. Stewie Griffin: Kill’s off minor characters, like that time he killed New Brian, and then left a fake suicide note for the Griffins. Eric Cartman: Taunts Jews a lot more, mainly on Kyle at times. And I disagree by the fact Brian had a lot of unlikeable moments. Please give me more moments of Brian when he is actually unlikeable. Edit: I asked for more reasons why Brian has a lot of unlikeable moments because I don’t know very much about him, and that Matthew reverted my edits.
Here’s a list of characters who I agree were flanderized.
Why do people love "Old Stewie" so much? It only exists because of fucking TVTropes!
Winx characters that were flanderized
According to TV Tropes, Stella and Tecna were flanderized in seasons 5-current.
For Stella, she became this in season 5 when her maturity was erased and began acting a lot like a spoiled brat.
Tecna also qualifies because she persevered the status quo when she went back to acting like her season 1 self and her development was thrown out the window.
Tecna's Flanderization falls under character derailment, while Stella's one stays here.

Squidward 2009: Punching bag that gets routinely tortured for no damn reason. Mr krabs 1999: greedy yet friendly business owner. Mr krabs 2009: Even more selfish and villainous asshole. Sandy 1999: squrrial that likes karate sports and science. Sandy 2009: A Mary Sue science nerd stereotypical cowgirl
Why did you
Why did you remove Star Buttterfly and Marco Diaz?
Remove Stewie and replace him with Star Butterfly.
Remove Stewie because he got better in my opinion.
Ash Got Flanderized twice.
If anyone remembers the Pokemon Black and White series, then you know that this when Ash first became immature jerk who acts like he just started his trainer journey. Could any admin add this information? Thank you.
Also Peter, you kind of ruined the Ash Ketchum page by forcing it to talk about two reincarnaions of Ash, without my permission I might add, and correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall you adding more than 4 measly reasons to the Black & White section. Unless you have my say-so, don't do it again, because a change like that is very big for a page.
Oh... Sorry about that. And yes, I did only four reasons, because I though I did five but I miscounted. You think it would be better if there's a separate page about that reincarnation of Ash, or not?
I'd rather that version of Ash wasn't here at all.
Okay. I understand.
The good side of Flanderization
Should we add characters that has been flanderized into likable characters? The character I know is Thor from the MCU, where he went from being the serious shakesperian talking brute from the other films, to a very ironic, more comedic, smarter, less arrogant badass.
Well, this page mostly focuses on the bad side of Flanderization, thus holding it on the Loathsome Characters Wiki. But we can add a paragraph talking about the good side of flanderization, mentioning some brief examples.
There shouldn't need to be a list, just a paragraph describing the good side of flanderization. The one example of Thor should be just fine.
I was badly flanderized when I went to miraheze.
