Suzy Johnson is a supporting antagonist of the American animated series Phineas and Ferb. She is the younger sister of Jeremy Johnson and archenemy of Candace Flynn, whom she despises because she doesn't want other girls around Jeremy other than herself.

Why She Intentionally Will Never Be Jeremy's Favorite Girl

  1. She is a very manipulative, deceitful, overbearing, devious, sociopathic, dominant, spoiled and bratty control freak towards her brother Jeremy.
  2. She acts innocent whenever Jeremy's around but shows her true colors when he isn't around.
  3. Her voice is very annoying and ear grating to listen to, to the point where she sounds like one of the chipmunks from Alvin and the Chipmunks.
  4. Her personality is similar to that of a stereotypical yandere as she is unhealthily obsessed with Jeremy except the fact that a yandere is obsessed over his/her love interest, while he is her brother.
  5. She torments and terrorizes Buford and Candace for no discernable reason (although Buford may have bullied her or Jeremy).
    • While Candace is often the antagonist, she's neither evil nor truly spiteful - only impulsive and a bit high-strung and has shown on occasion that she genuinely cares for her brothers.
    • Even the main antagonist of the series, Doofenshmirtz is quite Affably Evil, loves his daughter dearly, and is an absurdly Friendly Enemy to Perry. His attempts to take over the ENTIRE! TRI-STATE! AREA! come across as more pretending to be evil to get attention than the evil acts of a power-mad lunatic.
    • Meanwhile, Suzy is just a spoiled brat who isn't even an evil antagonist. She doesn't have sympathetic motives or reasons to be antagonistic or has a tragic backstory unlike the aforementioned characters, making her even more unlikable.
  6. She never gets punished or receives any comeuppances for her actions, not even in later episodes, which makes her a Karma Houdini. Even worse, Jeremy, her parents and neighbors think that she's just a cute little innocent girl, even though she's the exact opposite.
  7. Although it is understandable for a younger sibling to become so attached to their older sibling that they are afraid of any possibility of separation from them, it doesn't excuse the fact that she's badly written. She doesn't even have a reason to mistreat Candace because she is innocent as she doesn't do anything to Jeremy.
  8. She was at her absolute worst in "Comet Kermillion" and she did these horrible things mentioned down below.
    • Suzy took a nut from an elderly woman and sent it flying into Candace's pants as Jeremy went away briefly. Squirrels then went after the nut and into Candace's pants, causing her to go off freaking out. (Although, you got to admit it created a catchy song).
    • While stopping for ice cream, Suzy caused Candace to slip and fly into the ice cream vendor's cart and down a set of stairs. She then scared Candace off by putting a squirrel in her face.
  9. She’s shown to have trained her dog to torment Candace in “Interview with the Platypus”.
  10. Overall, she's one of the only bad characters in an otherwise good Disney show besides Mr. and Mrs. Doofenshmirtz, because of these reasons mentioned above.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Even it is not seen on screen or mentioned, it is hinted that she makes peace with Candace when she grows up as Candace is seems to be happily married to Jeremy in future.
  2. She is mostly likely intended to be hated.
  3. Although it's extremely rare and only when her brother isn't around, she sometimes is nice to and helps Candace, as seen in "Suddenly Suzy".
  4. After Candace is hit by Dr. Doofenshmirtz's Good-Luck Inator in "Just Our Luck", Suzy did get what she deserved for her attempt to douse the former with a water hose as a payback from the very early episode, "One Good Scare Ought to Do It!"
    • Despite "Comet Kermillion" depicting her at her worst, she does get her comeuppance at the end where a pile of steaks landed on her when she was about to hit Candace with a ball.
