Shelley Marsh is a character in South Park. She is the older daughter of Randy and Sharon, as well as the older sister of Stan. She is voiced by the late Mary Kay Bergman in seasons 1-3, Eliza J. Schneider in seasons 4-7, and April Stewart starting with season 8.

    Why She Was a Turd

    1. She treats her brother Stan horribly and often abuses him for stupid reasons.
    2. Even one time when Stan was trying to talk her out of what she was doing, she beat him against the TV.
    3. She barely gets punished for her actions, therefore making her a Karma Houdini for the most part.
    4. One time, when CARTMAN OF ALL PEOPLE complimented her, she got mad at him, revealing she cannot take kindness.
    5. Her boyfriend is 24 years old, meaning that she is dating a pedophile.
      • She also previously dated a 22-year-old before that.
    6. Her voice is somewhat irritating.
    7. She hit Stan over the head with a chair simply because he asked what a clitoris was.
    8. She has some unlikable moments even after season 7, such as in South Park: The Stick of Truth, when she stole Stan's iPhone and attacked him and the New Kid when they tried to get it back.
    9. The late Mary Kay Bergman (no disrespect) and Eliza J. Schneider did rather bad jobs voicing her.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. She's way more tolerable in the modern seasons, where she redeems herself and doesn't beat up Stan.
    2. She still cares about her brother.
    3. Her design is good, like most South Park characters.
    4. She usually believes in good morals.
    5. She has a few funny moments here and there.
    6. Her and Sharon's deaths in South Park: Post Covid were sad and can make viewers sympathize for them. And fortunately, the plot of South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid prevents their deaths from happening.

    Trivia

    • Her actions are based off what Trey Parker's sister did to him.
