Sarah Palmer (service number: 65287-98303-SP) is a character from the Halo series and the leader of the Spartans of the UNSC Infinity. She has received a mixed to negative reception from the Halo community since her debut in Halo 4.
Why She Sucks
- Her line about Master Chief's height "I thought you'd be taller." is supposed to be a reference to the often-used Marine combat dialogue from Halo: Combat Evolved ("Woah, he's taller than I thought!"), but fans mostly see this as a poorly written line.
- In Halo 5: Guardians, she is the forced announcer for Warzone unless you can get the Voices of War Pack, which is a paid DLC.
- She comes off as annoying and boring, as alluded to in the pointer about her being the default Warzone announcer.
- She doesn't even show much personality at all when being the Warzone announcer.
- She IS the leader of the Spartans aboard the UNSC Infinity despite having had less experience than the Spartan-IIs like Master Chief, Fred-104 (Lieutenant Junior Grade), Kelly-087, and Linda-058.
This section needs expansion.
Redeeming Qualities
- She was better in Halo 4 and its Spartan Ops episodic multiplayer campaign.
- Her voice actress Jennifer Hale actually does a decent job voicing Palmer.
Trivia
- Palmer is the main protagonist of the Halo top-down spinoff Halo: Spartan Assault, which was released in 2013.
