    Rufus
This dog deserved to be sent to the kennel and caged for the bad deeds he does to children and animals.
    Gender: Male

    Species: Dog

Media of origin: Monica and Friends/Monica's Gang/Turma da Mônica

Rúfius is a bulldog character from the Brazilian comic book series Monica and Friends. He was introduced sometime during the 2000s and has since become a recurring character in the comics. He's known for his abusive and mean behavior and frequently tormenting children.

Why He Intentionally Deserves to Be Sent To The Kennel

    1. He always acts mean and aggressive to children in the Lemon Tree Street and even other dogs to the point of getting old really fast.
    2. His design is really ugly and lazy, even for Monica and Friends standards. Even though he's supposed to be a pitbull, he looks more like a bulldog, and the shape of his mouth is very uncanny.
    3. Speaking of his design, it doesn't look like a character from Mauricio de Sousa's art style. Instead, it looks more like a rejected character from Craig McCracken's The Powerpuff Girls, Genndy Tartakovsky's Dexter's Laboratory or Chris Savino's The Loud House (depending on your view) than a character from Monica's Gang.
    4. He is a totally pointless character who only exists to cause trouble with his rude and aggressive behavior, just like Sparky, another cartoon dog.
    5. He's a Karma Houdini, as he receives zero punishment for his mean deeds against the children on the street.
    6. He is also one of the most one-dimensional characters ever created in the comics, mainly due to the fact that, unlike Blu and Vanilla, he doesn't even know how to speak (instead, he just growls and barks) or appear with his owner.
    7. In a story titled "É Rúfius!!", which was published in 2007, it is revealed that the reason for Rufus' constant aggressiveness is due to the employees that were responsible for writing the text of the comic books for Mauricio de Sousa often misspelling his name as "Ruflos" or "Rufus". But even after this story, Rufus continued to be aggressive and mean-spirited to the other characters.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Fortunately, he was one of the few characters from the comics that appeared a few in the cartoon and never appeared in the most recent episodes.
    2. Due to his antagonism, he probrably was made to be hated.
