Pimply Paul (Horrid Henry, seasons 1-3)

Pimply Paul (Horrid Henry, seasons 1-3)
"Shut it, brat." No. You shut it, Paul! Or should I say, "Paranoid Paul?"
    Gender: Male
    Type: Angry sourpuss husband
    Species: Human
    Portrayed by: Wayne Forester
    Status: Alive
    Media of origin: Horrid Henry

Paul Peregrine is the husband of Polly and father of Vomiting Vera, he is also Henry and Peter's cousin as well, Paul is an aggressive, edgy and rude man towards Henry, however, he is no longer like this after "Horrid Henry Delivers the Milk".

Why He Needed to "Buzz Off! Then!"

    1. He is cruel towards Henry, as he threatens to (somewhat) kill him in a few episodes.
    2. His design is even uglier in the books! We kid you not!
    3. He doesn't help his wife at all, such as going to relationship counselling, getting her the help/therapy she needs, helping Polly solve her problems, etc., proving he's a bad husband.
    4. Similar to his wife, he doesn't care about Vera vomiting on Henry either, as both him and his wife allowed this behavior.
    5. He can make uncanny and disturbing faces, such as in this clip of "Horrid Henry Delivers the Milk".
    6. Just like Henry's parents, he never lets Henry do whatever he wants, such as watching TV or have a good night's rest.
    7. He along with Polly went too fast in their relationship as seen in "Horrid Henry's Wedding" (Because they possibly married around late-adolescence).

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Following the events of "Horrid Henry Delivers the Milk", he and Henry settle their differences and befriend each other after finding out they have a lot more in common then they thought. In fact, he has become more likable and funny character since the aforementioned episode.
    2. Despite him always being in a bad mood, he isn't as selfish, paranoid or demanding as his wife.
    3. He wasn't wrong to be angry at Henry for ruining his wedding.
    4. Even at his worst, he loves his daughter Vera.
    5. His grumpiness can at least be excused by the fact that he's a teenager.
    6. Wayne Forester also does a great job at voicing him.
    7. He is likable in some episodes.
