Olive Doyle is one of the main characters of A.N.T. Farm. Olive has an eidetic memory, meaning she remembers everything from what she sees to what she reads. She had become part of the A.N.T. Program a little before Chyna Parks arrives, who she quickly becomes best friends with.

While she was a decent character in season 1, she has underwent personality changes in season 2 and 3 which caused her to get flanderized.

Olive is portrayed by Sierra McCormick.

Why She Is Not Interesting Anymore

    1. Olive went from a cheerful and strangely oblivious who can be innocently Insensitive in the first season to a full-blown jerk in these seasons.
    2. She becomes bossier, more self-centred, and enjoys other people's pain (and doesn't hesitate to inflict pain on others either), especially Fletcher. In Season 3, it came to a point in one episode where she ended up being worse than Lexi.
    3. She can be perceived as irritating and intolerable.
    4. Her screaming is annoying.
    5. She often makes nonsensical jokes.
    6. Her humor is weak, and cringe-worthy.
    7. Olive speaks relatively loudly and with an overdone accent of sorts.
    8. While very book smart due to having super memory, she has very childish moments, such as believing Cameron's ghost story, having way more fun while the rest of the ANTs are playing musical chairs and her overall naivete.
    9. Although she has the greatest mental capacity on the show, she rarely puts it to good use, as a result, she sometimes ends up looking dumb and childish at times. She begins to play with this trope in "intelligANT".
    10. She is a terrible friend to Fletcher because she constantly abuses, slap, hurts, and take advantage of him. Fletcher deserved a better friend than her.
    11. She can be a know-it-all, especially around Fletcher.
    12. She often doesn't get along with Fletcher though it improves in the latter half of season 3.
    13. She always has to rub into people's faces that she's smart and better than them.
    14. In her case her over-analytical mind seems to give her a Lack of Empathy around other people. Most of her moments are directed at Fletcher.
    15. Although Olive and Fletcher were a cute couple, they, unfortunately, broke up in the last episode of the show when they just got together 2 episodes earlier.
    16. Her portrayer, Sierra McCormick can often make her cringe-worthy.

    Good Qualities

    1. She was a more decent character in Season 1 before she got flanderized.
    2. She is not entirely the stereotypical dork, but she has a large brain capacity, which she fills with very advanced subjects such as physics and calculus, she finds homework and extra credit assignments fun and can be quite awkward and eccentric. She's still very pretty and Angus finds her attractive.
    3. The ANTs are usually geniuses in their individual specialism but Olive is the only one who can be considered a genius in a more general sense. Her eidetic memory make her basically a human computer and she has the greatest mental ability on the show.
    4. She has a good friendship with Chyna.
    5. Deep down she loves and cares for Fletcher
    6. Olive and Fletcher we're a cute couple and became a popular ship in the show.
    7. She does have her kind and decent moments.
    8. She has many funny moments.
    9. She was a very popular character when the show was on back then, and even without a cult following, many viewers would see her as a good character.
