    Loathsome Characters Wiki
    (Redirected from Noah Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!))
    Noah Kaiba
Your pathetic little puffball barely made a dent.
    Gender: Male
    Type: Vengeful Whiny Bratty Sibling
    Age: Unknown
    Species: Human
    Portrayed by: Chisa Yokoyama (Japanese)
    Andrew Rannells (English)
    Status: Deceased
    Media of origin: Yu-Gi-Oh!

Noah Kaiba is the central antagonist in the first half of the Virtual World Story Arc in the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh!.

He is the biological son of Gozaburo Kaiba, the adoptive brother of Seto and Mokuba Kaiba. Despite being the main antagonist of the Arc, he was actually a pawn to Gozaburo Kaiba.

    Why He Sucks

    1. Despite being written as an intelligent young boy who possess knowledge beyond human intellect that could make him come off as a very potentially written villain, Noah instead just comes off as a generic spoiled brat who will do anything to get his way.
    2. He also comes off as a very unnecessary character who only appeared as an antagonist in a filler arc, and Gozaburo's plan would have still been enforced if Noah was never even a character.
    3. Despite being incredibly intelligent, all of his tricks he set up in the Virtual World all came off as a cheap and immature attempt to claim everything from Seto Kaiba, and he calls it being fair and square.
    4. Even his attempt to cheat was cheap. Like using Mokuba as a shield so Kaiba couldn't attack him.
    5. He makes it about himself even more so than Seto Kaiba. Just for fun sometime, count the number of times Noah gets mad at someone for making him look bad.
    6. Compared to the other Yu-Gi-Oh! villains, that had qualities that made them come off as memorable, hilarious, or just downright badass, Noah has none of those qualities, and just comes off as very forgettable.
    7. While his voice actor puts in a good performance, his voice can come off as annoying.
    8. His redemption was half baked when he realized that he'd unknowingly aided Gozuburo Kaiba in getting his revenge from beyond the grave. The problem is that he'd done nothing up until that point to earn it and only changed because Mokuba convinces him to do so.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Of course, he indeed does realize his father's actions and sacrifices himself for the building collapse.
    2. His design is decent and it looks similar to Seto’s original Toei anime design (not counting the Duel Monsters series).
