Mr. Burgermeister is the Mayor of New Holland from Tim Burton's Frankenweenie

Why He Sucks

1. He is such an arrogant jerk who forces his niece Elsa to be Dutch Day's Little Dutch Girl and constantly lectures her.

2. He hates Victor's Dog, Sparky and he believes he would cause chaos. He even thought Sparky captured Elsa when it was the Vampire Cat who did it.

3. He accidentally set the town Windmill on fire when he led an angry mob after Sparky putting his own niece and her pet dog Persephone in danger. Yes it's an accident, but still.

4. His redemption was poorly done, he never apologized to Victor for misunderstanding Sparky as a monster that would wreck havoc, nor did he thank Victor and Sparky for saving everyone. Especially Elsa and Persephone.

Redeeming Qualities

1. He does care about Elsa, despite lecturing her.

2. He can have his funny moments.

3. He helped bring Sparky back to life again.
