Martin Pardon (The Lion King: Timon and Pumbaa)

    Martin Pardon
"Ooh! Pretty impressive, isn't he?" Nope!
    Gender: Male
    Type: Idiotic Animal Abuser
    Age: Unknown (Elderly)
    Species: Human
    Portrayed by: Rob Paulsen
    Status: Deceased
Media of origin: The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa
    First appearance: TV Dinner

Martin Pardon is a character from The Lion King's Timon and Pumbaa on the Laughing Hyenas segment "TV Dinner" where he was a nature show host trying to talk about the Armadillo but the Hyenas keep interrupting his filming. He was voiced by Rob Paulsen.

Why He's Intentionally Not so Impressive

    1. He is very careless about his cameraman, Ron and treats him poorly to the point of his abuse towards him. An example is that whenever he gets angry, he beats up Ron by shoving him into his own hat.
    2. He was a huge jerk to mh:greatcharacters:Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed and keeps bullying them just because they want to eat and be on his show, he even downright abuses them.
    3. He's not even a very good host as he is shown to be very ill-mannered and short tempered.
    4. His design is very ugly to look at, even by Disney and The Lion King standards.
    5. He knows almost nothing about animals, like he thinks that armadillos are from the Serengeti and eat turkey, when in reality, Armadillos are actually from America and eat insects. This makes him an idiot.
    6. For an adult, he's basically a spoiled manchild who throws a tantrum whenever things don't go his way.
    7. He is shown to be very self-centered as he cares more about the armadillo.
    8. His comeuppance, while satisfying, can be disturbing for a kids' show.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Ron and the Hyenas got revenge on him when the Hyenas take over his show and Ron let’s the Hyenas cook him and eat him. Thankfully this prevents him from becoming a Karma Houdini.
    2. He was intended to be hated in this episode given the fact that he is the main antagonist in it.
    3. Rob Paulsen did put a lot of effort into voicing him.
