    Lucas Bishop/Bishop (Messiah Wars)
This is what happens when a once great character goes insane.
    Gender: Male
Type: Flanderized Hero With Sadistic and Villianous Intentions
    Age: 30s-40s
    Species: Mutant
    Status: Alive
    Media of origin: Marvel Comics

Lucas Bishop was a member of the original X-Men, he was a loved superhero among fans until the Messiah Wars storyline, he suffered from character derailment and lost all likability.

Why He's Now Nothing More Than An Infantcidle Maniac

    1. Bishop was always never like this, he actually suffered from character derailment. He went from a likable and loyal member of the X-Men who had a special place on his heart for children to a deranged psychopathic monster who was bent on killing Hope Summers, Cable’s adoptive daughter.
    2. His IQ dropped massively, he is now as dumb as Patrick Star. This is shown through his endeavors of “saving his life”. He believed Hope Summers’ birth will “ruin his life” where he will repressed. How does he try to meet this goal? By MURDERING HOPE, and he doesn’t plot or plan and do it in secretive ways. He’s very overt and open about it; He does so by blowing up the hospital Hope was burn in, killing her birth mother, some nurses, and possibly other babies too, literally chasing, stalking, and harassing Cable, causing him to time jump and literally trying to shoot Hope, IN FRONT OF HIM, going back in time and killing the man who invented baby wipes in order to kill Hope of sepsis. He does not seem to be aware his actions would harm more people than the one he wants to harm. What happened? Did he inhale many toxic fumes in this comics.
    3. He clearly has gone insane and he even shaved his head as well.
    4. He practically ruined Cable’s life, if Bishop hadn’t done what he done, Cable would’ve been able to raise Hope in his lush home. (Cable is inexplicably poor in this comic storyline, which strange given he was shown to be very wealthy before this storyline. Remember, HE OWNS PART OF RUSSIA)
    5. Bishop was not only effecting Cable and Hope but Cable’s father, Cyclops. He caused Cyclops to have panic attacks to the point where he enlists Beast to build a Time Machine so Cable to give Hope the life he never gave Cable growing up. Remember, Cyclops doesn’t care about his family, so caring about his granddaughter is a big step.
    6. Bishop also killed many people during his quest to end Hope’s life.
    7. His quest was pointless because Hope’s birth never ruined his life to begin with, he’s just insane.
    8. He also never received his comeuppance in the storyline, making him a karma houdini.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Due to the hate he received from fans after Messiah Wars, he was relegated to minor role in comics after.
    2. Cable and Hope forgave him.
    3. Before Messiah Wars, he used to be a fan favorite.
