    Klaus Kickenklober
"Yuck! That is rubbish. So bad!"
    Gender: Male
    Type: Overly strict top-class choreographer
    Species: Proboscis monkey
    Portrayed by: Adam Buxton
    Status: Alive
    Media of origin: Sing 2

Klaus Kickenklober is a minor character in Sing 2. He is Johnny's dance instructor who happens to be a top-class choreographer in Redshore City. He teaches various characters to dance. He is voiced by Adam Buxton.

Why He's Intentionally Not Our Klaus Kickenklober

    1. Similar to Sergeant Stokes, despite being an experienced teacher, Klaus is overly strict with Johnny due to his teaching and Johnny's abilities. Oh, come on, Johnny is a rookie freshman student, not an experienced dancer.
    2. During the Out of This World show, he almost made Johnny look bad during his segment. If he didn't just show up, then Johnny would have been fine. Thankfully, Nooshy did at least give encouragement to Johnny during the show.
    3. He seems to be a perfectionist. He expects every student to do good in dancing yet he tries too hard to give Johnny the dancing lessons he needs. Why can't Klaus just put Johnny in a beginning area before stepping up to the game?
    4. Ever since Johnny became good at dancing due to Nooshy's methods, he got really jealous and salty over it. Thanks to this, he ended up sabotaging Johnny's segment in the performance.
    5. He believes that "only through suffering can one achieve greatness" which is not even true, and can be seen as a bad lesson for people. Suffering isn't even good in the first place. You can still achieve greatness with little suffering and it takes practice and pacing. His belief would be fine if he wasn't so strict.
    6. He never tolerates failure. While it's great to get awards, he just flat-out ignores that no one is perfect. How foolish of him.
    7. He's so proud that he judges aspiring dances so harshly that if he deems them lost, he will make his opinion clear and there will be nothing to prove otherwise (well it wasn't until Johnny beat Klaus).
    8. He was the reason as to why he almost made Johnny quit dancing due to his teaching methods.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. He does have a good reason as to why he wants his dancing students to push the limits. He just does his job at giving his experienced dancers the best shot despite his problems.
    2. In the end, Klaus does show respect for Johnny after the latter got back on his feet.
    3. Though contradicting, he could be right about how suffering can make us stronger just to be used as a learning experience.
    4. He does have few funny quotes, like "You're not thrusting, Johnny." and "I don't see your tippy toes!".
    5. Adam Buxton gives a very good performance as Klaus.
