    Karla (Fire Emblem)
No Fire Emblem character, in the history of the universe, is worse than this.
    Gender: Female
    Type: Useless Sword-users
    Age: 18
    Species: Human
    Portrayed by: Allegra Clark (English)
    Suwa Ayaka (Japanese)
    Status: Alive
    Media of origin: Fire Emblem
First appearance: Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade

Karla is a playable character in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and Fire Emblem Heroes. She is the emotionally distant, naïve and cool-natured sister of Karel, known as the Princess of Swords or the Sword Vassal.

    Why She Sucks

    1. In The Blazing Blade, she joins extremely late with lower stats that are almost useless and she pales in comparison to the other sword-users in the game. Her requirements for recruitment are also ridiculous, and she will only be an option at all if the player decides to train Bartre to a certain level. Her absurd recruitment requirements really isn't worth the effort unless you're wanting to obtain every support conversation in the game.
      • Her role in Heroes is not even better. Karla's "better stats" is very disproportionate to her actual role in The Blazing Blade and is possibly being the result of favoritism. The fact that she made her appearance in Heroes on a Black Fang-themed banner (Scattered Fangs) and Tempest Trials event (Feud of the Fangs) is not helping at all since Karla and her brother Karel were never members of the Black Fang.
    2. She also pales in comparison to her brother Karel due to not getting as much good character development as he did.
    3. Her paired ending with Bartre in The Blazing Blade has a bit of a translation error in the later half. Anyone who has played The Binding Blade will know that this isn't the case.
    4. Some time shortly after giving birth to her daughter Fir, Karla dies of illness prior to the events of The Binding Blade. Because of this, she is not a good character to relate to if you don't want to die.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Many consider her to be the "morality pet" for Karel (possibly next to Lucius) and she may be one of the reasons as to why Karel changed from the Sword Demon to the Sword Saint in the first place.
    2. The only other good qualities are the facts that she's Bartre's wife and Fir's mother.
    3. Like any other Fire Emblem character, she has a good design.
