Kara Danvers or her real name Kara Zor-El and also known as Supergirl is the main protagonist of 2015 tv show of the same name. Same as the comics, Kara is the older cousin of Superman, and daughter of Alura and the late Zor-El from the Kryptonian Science Council of Krypton.

Why She Needs Someone To Save Her

  1. To get this starte, she has a victim complex compared to the Flash, Arrow/Green Arrow, and Black Lightning, accusing people who complain of the destruction caused in her battles of not having a problem with Superman doing the same thing. This is despite the massive amount of criticism Superman got for doing so in Man of Steel.
  2. She only cares about getting recognition as shown when she gets upset that Maxwell Lord credits his rescue to Superman when actually true that Superman was the one who saved them.
  3. She's a Mary Sue who is able to overpower Superman.
  4. Both Superman and Martian Manhunter are torn down to prop her up.
    • Superman gives a big speech about how much better than him she is.
  5. She punched a security guard trying to escort her out of a party she wasn't invited it because he "touched a woman".
  6. She was nearly flanderized in a "Mean Popular Girl" when she was affected by red kryptonite.
  7. Partway through the show's run they dropped Supergirl's signature outfit in favor of one with pants. Not only is this an obvious attempt to appease SJWs, it makes this version of Supergirl yet another superheroine whose outfit is just a colored jumpsuit.
  8. In the sixth and final season, she is trapped from the Phantom Zone after Alex used a projector of the phantom zone to defeat Lex Luthor. Thus, causing her allies to find new ways to get back from the phantom zone in every episode. Even Princess Peach has a better track record.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. Melissa Benoist is a decent actor by CW standards.
  2. She is much faithful to her comic counterpart.
  3. Her costume in season 1-4 looks pretty good and closer to her comic counterpart.
  4. She's more tolerable than Kate Kane/Batwoman.
