Juniper Montage
Juniper Montage is a female human who appears as the main antagonist of the Equestria Girls half-hour specials Movie Magic and Mirror Magic. She is an usher at the Canterlot Mall movie theater and a former gofer on her uncle Canter Zoom's movie studio set.

Design
Juniper Montage somewhat resembles S07E18 Unnamed Earth Mare #2 and has a similar color scheme to S07E10 Unnamed Earth Mare #1.
Personality
When first introduced, Juniper is portrayed as very friendly and innocent. Like Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, she is a huge fan of A. K. Yearling, having met her once and gotten her to sign her copy of the latest Daring Do book. She also appears to be a big movie enthusiast, having worked on the sets for all of her uncle's movies and evidenced by her film reel-shaped hairpins. She shares her movie interest with Twinkleshine.
However, toward the end of Movie Magic and in Mirror Magic, Juniper's true colors come to light. Her desire to be cast as Daring Do and become a famous movie star is so strong that she is willing to sabotage the production of a film. When her dreams are not realized, she lashes out at those responsible, demonstrated when she uses a magic hand mirror to trap Sunset Shimmer with her friends in limbo. Juniper also shows considerable indifference for her job as a theater usher, willfully ignoring her boss, groaning over any tasks given to her and wanting the annoying customers to go away.
In her transformed state, Juniper's views on the world become warped to the point where she perceives screaming people as adoring fans. However, she does express deep remorse at the ends of Movie Magic and Mirror Magic, her actions stemming from a desire to be liked by others.
Juniper's favorite food is Bon Mot peanut butter praline crunch bars, which are also Chestnut Magnifico's favorite snack.
Why She Doesn't Deserve to Become an Actress of Daring Do
- She is a spoiled brat who wanted to become an actress in Daring Do.
- She ruined her uncle’s movie by stealing the relics.
- She became evil for an extremely long pathetic reason: Just because her uncle, Canter Zoom, didn’t make her an actress for the upcoming Daring Do movie.
- She tried to frame Chestnut Magnifico (the actress of Daring Do) for stuff she didn't do so that she could get fired so that Juniper could try to be the actress of Daring Do.
- She uses her magic mirror and traps the Mane 7. While the mirror was starting to break apart, Juniper almost got the Mane 7 killed.
- She has a generic mean girl personality.
- She acts pretty childish.
- In "Mirror Magic", she was shown to be a stupid antagonist who tried to seek revenge on the Mane 7 for a petty reason.
- Her empowered giant form design is pretty generic and mediocre.
- Despite getting punished in "Movie Magic", she got off easy for her actions in "Mirror Magic", making her a Karma Houdini in the latter episode.
- Her motivation and endgame relate to how delusional and immature she is. She wants to play the leading role in a movie, despite having zero acting experience; wants to get rid of the lead actress because she's jealous and doesn't seem to understand that the movie was more likely to be shut down via her actions.
- Her voice, while okay, can be grating most of the time, especially when she yells.
Redeeming Qualities
- Except for her empowered giant form, her regular character design is good.
- She apologized to the Mane 7 and Starlight Glimmer for her actions.
- Her excited face was adorable when she was talking to Sci-Twi and Rainbow Dash when she first met them.
- Despite her grating voice as mentioned above in WSD'tDTBAAODD#12, Ali Liebert did an okay job voicing her.
