Jayden Shiba (Power Rangers (Super) Samurai)

"Samurai Rangers, victory is ours!" WE GET IT!!!

Jayden Shiba is Samurai Ranger Fire, the Red Samurai Ranger, are the 18th (later 19th) and the primary protagonist of Power Rangers Samurai and its sequel Power Rangers Super Samurai, he is the current head of the Shiba Clan and the leader of the Samurai Rangers. He pilots the Lion Folding Zord and controls the element of fire, he's portrayed by Alex Heartman.

Bad Qualities

1. He is now a very unlikable Gary Stu mainly because his team members worship him like he's Jesus, a Demigod, and/or the best leader of all time. He's so worshiped by his teammates that they treat his sister, Lauren, like a Butt-Monkey when he leaves. Yet when he returns, his teammates act like he's was the second resurrection of Jesus.
2. He is also one of the worst Red rangers in the Power Rangers franchise along with Troy Burrows.
3. He is extremely unlikable and very hypocritical because he said a samurai team should work together, despite the fact that he barely interacts with them and most of the time tries to battle alone.
4. His acting was mediocre.
   1. Speaking of which Alex Heartman was heavily miscasted as Jayden since that Jayden was from Japanese Descent.
5. He makes very odd choices that are not only extremely anticlimactic, but also puts him in danger, one infamous example is in the Power Rangers Samurai episode " A Fish Out of Water", were he rescues a women holding a baby from Yamiror's Poisonous Breath by.....blocking Yamiror's breath and tells the woman holding the baby to go. Not only was this one of the most anti-climactic action moments to happen in not only the Neo-Saban Era, but in the entire franchise. But it's also not a bright move if you think about it as not only did Jayden made himself even more poisoned, but the breath could have easily passed by the Red Ranger, and hit the woman holding the baby, thus making BOTH of them sick. OOPS!
6. His finishing line, "Samurai Rangers, victory is ours!" is very annoying and it becomes old really quick.
7. He tries so hard to be serious but fail miserably.
8. He initially refused to allow Antonio (even though he was as an unlikable character as Jayden was) to join the team and even attempted to leave the other Rangers and fight on his own,(same happened with both sentai counterparts of the rangers).

Good Qualities

1. He is much better in Power Rangers Super Megaforce, even though it is an awful season.
2. He is a kind person and does care for his Ranger friends.
3. Eventually, Jayden learns to have fun and not be so serious all the time.
4. He was very similar to his counterpart Takeru Shiba/Shinken Red, meaning if he was better written and had more growth, he could've been an amazing character
