    Giant Magnet
    Gender: Unknown
    Type: Generic "Killing Machine"
    Species: Junkyard Magnet
    Status: Unknown
Media of origin: The Brave Little Toaster

The Giant Magnet is the final antagonist of Disney's 1987 animated film The Brave Little Toaster, which is based on the 1980 novel of the same name by the late Thomas M. Disch.

Why It Is a Pile of Junk

    1. It makes multiple attempts to kill Toaster and his fellow appliances, even though they are still in perfect working order and therefore not junk.
    2. It holds grudges and doesn't let things go. Such is the case when it hunts the protagonists alone when they are just going to evade it at every turn. The fact that it sucks up an entire heap of junk that they are hiding behind proves that it could care less about any other piece or pile of junk as long as they alone are compacted. If it had any sense, it would have simply forgotten about them and gone back to collecting the stuff that actually is junk.
    3. In its final attempt to kill the protagonists, it also endangers the life of their owner, Rob, which shows that it has no qualms about killing humans just to achieve personal goals.
    4. It lacks any other personality, as it is nothing more than a generic psychotic killing machine.
    5. It does not receive any consequences for its actions, making it a Karma Houdini.
    6. While it can be argued that it is just merely doing its job, this does not make the case any better, as it knows that the things it's killing are alive.

    The Only Redeeming Quality

    1. After its final attempt to kill the protagonists and their owner, it seemingly lost its grudge on them and most likely went back to doing its job.
