Fredrick T. Nitpick is a character from SpongeBob SquarePants. He first appeared in the infamous episode "The Googly Artiste". He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

Why He's Too Nitpicky To Be A Critic

    1. For starters, the main problem with him is that he's another one of the incidental jerks who bully Squidward and SpongeBob, but literally praise Patrick for making a rock with googly eyes.
    2. He's also an idiot, when he sees Squidward's artwork, he claims that it is disgusting for some reason, and literally confiscated Squidward's beret and gives it to Patrick for his rock with googly eyes!
    3. His sense of humor isn't very funny either especially with the comedic style his character is associated with.
    4. He's portrayed as overly critical and dismissive, and much like his laugh, it's annoying.
    5. He's also a real asshole, saying that his hat is hideous and confiscates Squidward's hat. Then, the art critic judges SpongeBob's art and says it is lame. He then judges Patrick's art and mentions how it was so wonderful and creative, what is he calling creative? A freaking Rock with googly eyes. He gives him $500 and Squidward's hat for it.
    6. Because of him, Mr. Krabs pulls SpongeBob and Patrick into his office and demands an explanation and, to his fury, learns that Patrick is ordering Krabby Patties for $3 for his googly art which he then sells for $50. Squidward sneers at them for getting into trouble, but Patrick explains that he was following Squidward's advice that wasn't even his. Hearing this, Mr. Krabs realizes this is all Squidward's doing and gets very angry at him. So, Mr. Krabs put good use to Squidward to punish him and get money.
    7. He also caused Krabby Patties to be sold at $50.
    8. We don't know the art studio he is a critic for (like Milo J. Finkerfish) thus making him underdeveloped and one-dimensional.
    9. He never really got redeemed after this episode despite getting Karma in his next (and last) appearance.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. He gets karma in "It Came From Goo Lagoon" when he is covered in goo from the goo bubble at a wedding.
    2. His design is passable.
    3. Thankfully, after he appeared in the beginning, he didn't appear at all.
    4. Dee Bradley Baker does a decent job voicing him.
    5. "I've never seen such raw creativity!"
