Oh, Elliot, what in the world happened to you?!
Gender: Male
Type: Unlikable Schmuck
Species: Deer
Portrayed by: William Townsend
Status: Alive
Media of origin: Open Season

Elliot is the deuteragonist of Sony Picture's Animation's Open Season and its two sequels, as well as its direct-to-video sequel, Open Season: Scared Silly. He is voiced by William Townsend.

Sadly, he was flanderized in Scared Silly to the point that he became very unlikable.

Why He's a One-Horned Freak Now

  1. He has been horribly flanderized and acts completely out of character in this film. In the first three Open Season movies, he was a gullible and dimwitted yet supportive and somewhat intelligent deer who was very hilarious. Here, however, he has become an unlikable, humorless and manipulative schmuck that's essentially a shallow representation of his former self.
  2. He is a much bigger jerk to Boog than he ever was before, as he puts him in danger constantly.
  3. When he tries to be helpful in this film, he fails at doing so.
  4. He made Boog a much more, bigger chicken by telling him the story of the Wailing Wampus Werewolf.
  5. His plan to scare the fear out of Boog and uncover the mystery of the Wailing Wampus Werewolf, is barely helpful and would put Boog into more misery instead.
  6. He is much grosser, dumber, annoying, disgusting, unfunny, and more cringe-worthy than he was before.
  7. There's even a scene where Elliot eats McSquizzy's poop, which is considered coprophilia. We wish we were joking.
  8. He even twerks and takes fun in making butt jokes or even having an immature and stale sense of humor as well.
  9. He only seems to care more about the camping trip rather than Boog.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. He was a much funnier character in the first three movies.
  2. He did redeem himself at the end of the film and still means well.
