    Background

Dominic Steven Romero "Dicky" Harper is one of the Harper quadruplets and one of the main protagonists of the Nickelodeon series, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. He's one of the three brothers in the quads, and is thought of as "the cool one". He was the third quad born, making him the second youngest. He's pretty laid-back and mostly focuses on impressing "the ladies". Dicky is portrayed by Mace Coronel.

While he used to be a dimwitted boy with good intentions, once season three came around things fell apart.

Why "The Ladies" Won't Like Him Anymore

    1. He was very badly flanderized in seasons 3 and 4, where he became an idiot that only cares about his hair and girls.
    2. He makes several idiotic moves throughout the seasons, and doesn't know what's going on 75% of the time.
    3. He's terrible at keeping secrets, and always accidentally reveals the truth in the dumbest way possible.
      • Him and his big mouth are the reason the quads get into trouble in the first place the majority of the time.
    4. He cares more about his hair than basically anything else.
    5. He can often be pretty mean-spirited and disrespectful.
    6. He often exists purely for filler or poorly done jokes.
    7. He's super self-centered and thinks he's cooler than he really is.
    8. Even him being a ladies' man, his one unique trait aside from his idiocy, was shelved in these seasons and rarely ever appears.
    9. He went to Australia in the last few episodes for the sole reason of seeing the toilets flush in the opposite direction, which isn't even true to begin with.
      • Due to his absence, he was replaced by an Australian exchange student that was actually more likable than him.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. He was much more tolerable in the first two seasons.
    2. He had an entire episode dedicated to him where he finally stood up for himself, which was pretty admirable.
    3. When he was excluded from Simone's friend group in "To Be Invited or Not to Be" he took it surprisingly well and became much smarter and more civilized faster than should be humanly possible, which made him a lot more likable, but unfortunately he was back to normal by the end of the episode.
    4. Sometimes he can be pretty clever.
    5. He can be pretty hilarious at times.
    6. He usually has good intentions.
    7. Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn would not be the same without him.
