    Customer (SpongeBob SquarePants)

    Customer (Pizza Delivery)
Whatever you do, DO NOT give service to this guy!
    Gender: Male
    Type: Ungrateful Fish Jerk
    Age: Adult
    Portrayed by: Doug Lawrence
    Status: Alive
    Media of origin: SpongeBob SquarePants

The Customer is a minor character from SpongeBob SquarePants. He makes his first appearance in the famous and critically acclaimed episode "Pizza Delivery" and is voiced by Doug Lawrence.

Why The Krusty Krab Pizza Isn't For Him and Doesn't Deserve Any Dr. Kelp

    1. For starters, he is only used as filler for the episode, as he gets angry when SpongeBob and Squidward risked their lives to bring him his pizza and he still gets mad.
    2. The customer refused to pay for the pizza just because SpongeBob and Squidward forgot to bring his Diet Dr. Kelp, which he didn't even order in the first place.
    3. He even angrily asked how if he is supposed to eat the pizza without his drink, which shows how ungrateful he is.
      • What's even worse is that he ordered pizza from the Krusty Krab, a restaurant that doesn't even serve pizza, let alone deliver, as Squidward points out. Even worse, he ordered pizza during closing time.
    4. It just goes to show that he is not only ungrateful, but he is also stupid and greedy. It didn't help the fact that SpongeBob and Squidward risked their lives to deliver the pizza to him.
    5. He even threw the pizza over the tearful SpongeBob and angrily slammed the door in front of him. He even insulted poor SpongeBob for "not thinking about the customer", which was very mean-spirited of him.
    6. The act was so cruel that it made Squidward of all people show sympathy for SpongeBob, which led to a well deserved punishment (see RQ#1 for more info)
    7. He is arguably one of the most hated incidentals in the entire show, considering that he represents the worst traits of a unsatisfied and disrespectful customer.
    8. He is highly one dimensional as it is never explained why he has such a nasty attitude. He is basically made out to be despicable just to make the plot “work”.
    9. Now, it might be possible that he ordered a Diet Dr. Kelp as he said something before Mr. Krabs hung up. Even if he did, he could've just easily called them back and made sure they got his part. Still, his reaction is just disproportionate.
    10. To top it all off, the Krusty Krab is right next door to his house. Because of this, he could have just walked over to the restaurant and made his order there instead of calling on the phone at the last minute.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. He does get a good, hilarious, and iconic dose of karma in the form of Squidward slamming the pizza in his face.
    2. Doug Lawrence did a great job voicing him.
    3. He was likely meant to be hated anyway.

    • Being the inspiration to Incidental 6's design, he bears a resemblance to him, but they are separate character models with numerous differences:
