Cleveland Brown (The Cleveland Show, season 1)

Cleveland Brown is the titular protagonist of the FOX animated television series The Cleveland Show. He was a major character on Family Guy until he moved and starred in his own said spin-off series. Sadly, he was temporarily flanderized in the first season of his own show.

"No No No No No NOOOO!" Qualities

Note: This only applies to his character as depicted in just the first season of his own spin-off series The Cleveland Show since he was more likeable in Family Guy and the next 3 seasons of his own spin-off series. Any attempts to add loathsome moments of Cleveland's in Family Guy and/or the next three seasons of The Cleveland Show will be reverted immediately.

  1. He was flanderized into becoming a whiny, immature, annoying, unfunny, and literal man-child in his very own show.
  2. He's basically the Peter Griffin and Stan Smith, but not as bad, of his own spin-off show.
  3. There's literally an entire episode with him farting called "Gone with the Wind".
  4. HYPOCRISY: He is racist as in one episode he hated white people and even started hating his friend, Lester, due to him being white! Though to be fair, Lester was acting racist and even said that he hated Black History Month.
  5. He also ran over the family dog and tried to hide it from his family.
  6. He is sometimes neglectful of his family and friends.

Good Qualities

  1. He was a better character in Family Guy before his show, and Cleveland's character improved in seasons 2-4 of his own show before he fully redeemed himself when he returned to Family Guy.
  2. He still cares about his family and friends.
  3. Mike Henry does an excellent job voice acting him, as always.
    • Arif Zahir's impression of him is also really good.
  4. While he can come off as a clone of Peter Griffin and Stan Smith, Cleveland is not as badly flanderized like them, in other words, not as cruel, corrupt, or stupid as the other two are.
  5. He isn't heartless, as he did feel remorseful when he killed the family dog.
  6. It's kind of understandable why he acts like a jerk in this series because he was treated horribly in Family Guy.
