"Abe, remind me. Is Joan your best friend because of some elaborate joke or because of sympathy?"

    Cleo

Cleopatra "Cleo" Smith is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Mr. Butlertron) of Clone High. She’s the clone of the Egyptian Queen, Cleopatra VII Thea Philosopher. She is the former primary love interest of Abe Lincoln and the primary love interest of Frida Kahlo.

She was voiced by Christa Miller in the original series and Mitra Jouhari in the 2023 reboot.

    Intentional Slutty Qualities

    1. Like with Chloé Bourgeois from Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir, she’s just a stereotypical mean popular girl who always thinks she’s better then everyone else only except that she’s a lot more worse then Chloé.
    2. He treats her boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend), Abe terribly with her just liking him for his popularity and always takes advantage of him.
    3. She's also proven to treat Gandhi also extremely cruelly as she was his foster sister until she convinced her mom that he wasn't "good enough" for her image and had him sent to another home which just comes to show how heartless she is.
    4. She was at her worst in "A.D.D.: The Last 'D' is for Disorder" when she along with the other students at Clone High High School we’re keeping their distance away from Gandhi just because he has A.D.D. And A.D.H.D. Which is a pretty stupid reason to ignore someone.
    5. She was also at her worst in "Sleep of Faith: La Rue D'Awakening" such as when she wouldn't let Abe get any sleep and always manipulating him to stay up.
    6. She's also a complete snob who criticizes people who aren't popular.
    7. Even though she immediately improved in the reboot, she has been sidelined as a one-dimensional character who didn't really have anything much to do and was still a little bit rude but not as much as before.
    8. She also has no respect with people with disabilities such as when she build a wall to keep away from the special ed classroom.
    9. She can also be a complete drama queen like when she breaks up with all her boyfriends and makes a big deal about it even though she's the one who cheats on them.
    10. She's also a complete bitch to Joan at times such as when she makes fun of her for being poor due to her house burning down.
    11. Like with JFK (despite being a good character), she is INCREDIBLY horny and perverted for a 16 year old with her eating a banana sexually, pouring milk all over her, and putting whipped cream all over her body.
    12. She never gets her comeuppance for her terrible actions which also makes her a Karma Houdini.
    13. Overall, she's another one of those stereotypical mean popular girls but somehow even worse and cruller then your typical ones.

    Good Qualities

    1. Since she's a stereotypical mean popular girl, it's obvious that she was meant to be hated.
    2. Due to her having a drunk foster mom, some people can feel a little bad for her.
    3. Despite being very cruel, she can also be very affectionate like when she comforts JFK because of Ponce's death.
    4. She can also be very hilarious at times and can provide some great moments.
    5. Christina Miller did a good job voicing her in the original series and Mitra Jouhari also does a decent job voicing her in the reboot.
    6. Her design is good and attractive as it does look identical to her clone mother.
    7. Clone High wouldn't really be the same without her.
    8. Despite being sidelined in the reboot, she actually massively improved as she isn't as cruel and heartless anymore and while she can have her unlikable moments, it isn't as bad as the original series and doesn't have a toxic relationship with her girlfriend, Frida unlike Abe and JFK.

    Trivia

    • Like with Abe, Cleo never goes by her full name, and instead just goes solely by "Cleo", likely to help differentiate her from her clone mother.
    • Gandhi and Cleo used to be raised by the same foster mother for 10 years. After that decade has passed and Cleo was going to high school, she thought her brother would give her a bad image, so she convinced her parents to send Gandhi to a different pair of parents. She doesn’t even remember his existence or his name.
      • Given how Cleo and Gandhi were both 16 and in Junior Year, when Gandhi first mentioned this in "Escape to Beer Mountain: A Rope of Sand", they most likely lived under the same roof, starting when they were 4, and ending when they were 14.
      • The way Gandhi worded the mention of this in the first episode, he said "our parents", implying that she also has a father. Only her mother has been seen, however, and "A Room of One’s Clone: The Pie of the Storm", proves that she’s single.
    • Cleo’s original design during the development of Clone High School, USA! was similar to her current design in the show, however she appears more human like and proportional, yet wears the same clothing. However, she also is seen with traditional Egyptian markings on her face and has more reasonably sized bust.
    • She has been seen carrying her books and walking in a stereotypical Egyptian style (one hand on hip, other hand flat and raised above head) during the beginning of the first episode, "Escape to Beer Mountain: A Rope of Sand".
    • Cleo and Gandhi are the only two main clones to have never sat at the Thinking Docks.
