Charlie Carbone and Louis Booker are the main protagonists of the 2003 buddy comedy film Kangaroo Jack. Charlie is the owner of a beauty salon, while Louis is Charlie's best friend. They were played by Jerry O'Connell and Anthony Anderson respectively, while the latter actor also voiced Louis' kangaroo counterpart in Charlie's nightmare.
Why They're Nothing but Chicken Blood
- The film mainly focuses on them rather than Kangaroo Jack (Jackie Legs) himself.
- The entire sequence of them in the restroom talking about the money in the envelope while still on the plane.
- They also do a ton of stupid things as well.
- They even take pictures of and play with Jackie Legs' possible corpse, talk about animal cruelty.
- Louis is a manipulator to Charlie and has him do bad deeds.
- They planned on keeping the money for themselves that they were told to send to Australia.
- The scene where Charlie grabs Jessie by the boobs to see if she was a mirage.
- Most of their dialogue is very awkward such as "The Kangaroo got the money!"
- They also never think things through such as Louis putting his coat on Jackie Legs while the money was still in the coat.
- Their laughing and screaming are very annoying.
Redeeming Qualities
- They become better characters in the sequel.
- They at least did try to get the money from the kangaroo back after Louis stupidity put the Jacket on him.
- Their actors had good chemistry and felt like best friends.
