Terrible characters from Don Bluth's animated properties. Don Bluth is an American filmmaker born in 1937 in El Paso, Texas specializing in the field of animation who has been serving the industry since 1955. From 1955 to 1979, he worked for Walt Disney Animation Studios, and then he formed his own independent animation studio Sullivan Bluth Studios, where he produced films such as The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail, The Land Before Time and All Dogs Go to Heaven, as well as the video games Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, which were pioneers of the interactive film genre. Sadly, his studio went downhill in the few years following the release of All Dogs Go to Heaven. In 1994, his studio was acquired by 20th Century Fox as one of the founders of its animation division, and he made his biggest hit Anastasia under them. In 2019, his original employer acquired Fox, making Anastasia part of the Disney library now. While Don Bluth is a wonder of animation, these characters from him are not as wonderful.
