Into every generation a character is born: one character in all the world, a chosen one. That character alone will wield the strength and skill to upset and/or anger critics and audiences, by serving little-to-no role in the show, being disrespectful to the people around her, or losing their charm as the series goes on. That character form Buffy the Vampire Slayer and/or Angel will not be well-loved by fans of the show. They will be known as "The Loathsome Character".
