Carl is a supporting character in the Peruvian CGI movie The Dolphin: Story of a Dreamer. He is Daniel's helper friend and accompanies him on his adventures throughout the film.

Why He Sucks

1. He has a boring, irritating, unfunny personality, and often starts a random, meaningless conversation with Daniel.
2. He does absolutely NOTHING in the entire movie apart from following Daniel on his journey and making stupid comments.
3. He has an very ugly design.
4. He spends the entire movie bragging that he is "strong and dangerous", but when he comes to facing the villain, he passes out THREE times.
5. The scene where he is pampering a child fish is annoying and too long.
6. He simply abandoned his mother just to follow Daniel on his adventures, even though he has nothing to gain from it.
7. There's a scene in the movie where he just eats coins he finds on a wrecked ship.
8. He tries to be funny many times in the movie, but he always fails.

Redeeming Qualities

1. At the end of the movie he fortunately lets Daniel go home alone.
