Hello. I am making this blog to propose that a page concerning the twist villain cliche should be added onto this wiki. I propose this because lately, many studios including Disney have been using this cliche to the extreme to the point where many viewers are finding this cliche to be extremely annoying. In my argument, I propose that the twist villain cliche is bad because it has the potential to put the characters targeted towards character derailment and/or Flanderization. There are also issues with the amount of foreshadowing done towards these characters with the hints ranging from none at all with the twist villain being revealed out of nowhere to excessive foreshadowing where the “twist” in the villain is not even a twist at all. Disney has recently been using this cliche in their films like Frozen and The Incredibles 2 and fans had several issues with how Disney handled Hans and Evelyn Deavor in terms of how their twist villainy was executed.
