Sam Star is Patrick Star’s older sister who makes her only appearance in “Big Sister Sam” from Season 7 of SpongeBob SquarePants.

    Why She’s Not Patrick’s Rock

    1. She has severe anger issues as she constantly loses her temper and goes on massive rampages for petty reasons.
    2. Her character design is very ugly and grotesque, though it might be intentional.
    3. Her voice is annoyingly gruff and unfitting for a female.
    4. Whenever Patrick is around, she plays the victim and tries to make SpongeBob and Squidward look bad.
    5. When Patrick half-heartedly calls her out for her actions, she goes as far as destroying Patrick’s home towards the end of the episode and accidentally injures him in the act. Thankfully, he ended up being okay.
    6. She never gets punished for her actions, thus making her a Karma Houdini.

    Redeeming Qualities

    1. Despite being extremely unlikable, she has some funny moments.
    2. She may be an intentionally bad character.
    3. Thankfully, “Big Sister Sam” is her only appearance in the series as she is never seen or heard from again after said episode. To add on to that, in “The Patrick Star Show”, she is replaced by Squidina.
