Kate Bishop is a character in Marvel Comics.

Why She Sucks

1. She's just a ripoff of Clint Barton.
2. She's somehow a better archer than Clint Barton despite her lack of training.
3. She's a Mary Sue who's only brushes with failure are when she's failed by people around her.
4. Her backstory comes across as self-indulgent and makes her come across as a self insert character.
5. Marvel are always trying to shoehorn her in, making her a creator's pet.

Redeeming Qualities

1. She used to actually have an interesting backstory as a rich happy over achiever but ended up getting brutally attacked and raped. She was unable to deal with it that she started getting more angry and lashing out at others. She decided to toughen her self up was so she won't have to feel helpless ever again. Unfortunately it was later retconned out.
2. Her MCU counterpart in Hawkeye is better.
