    • P.S. I originally wrote this in Notepad so excuse some crap that may come as a result.

Well, it's part 3 of the epic duper series called "How We Are Gonna Fix This Wiki"!...and probably the last. Yeah, this trilogy has really helped the quality of the wiki. After Part 1, many pages and users were dealt with more properly, after Part 2, the new admins (including me) came to save the day even more, and overall, this (hopefully) last blog will sum up how much the wiki's been fixed up, and some other issues I've noticed and how we're gonna deal with the final problems.

How The Wiki Got Fixed Up

I'm going to actual be an egotist for a second and say I was one major role in kick starting the rise of the wiki again. As TigerBlazer said, the wiki noticeably went downhill after it was reopened, as there were more childish users and bad pages. The courage to begin to stop the downfall was after finding the worst page on the wiki (at the time)- Gale. That page I LOATHED (pun intended). It was full of superfluous and stupid pointers, so I made sure that page got put in its place. The next 2 pages that sparked the interest into the blog with Pencilmate and King Pig, the latter of which thankfully got deleted. Around this time I also met some users, bad and good. The users I personally liked included ShawnTheLogoBoi, Suppai, Blakeishere, JigglyPuff, TigerBlazer, Flowerfun, and more! (P.S. Shawn, Suppai, and Jiggly are the other lucky ones with admin control!) However, as said, many other users were childish, and couldn't take criticism. The first major one that I have to point to where Ammar, a user who was seemingly obsessed with biased pages and this Peppa Pig rip off called "Wolfoo". Due to him messing around too much, he has been banned till early Summer. The next one is Becarbone. The main problem with him is simple- he was an asshole. He kept bugging us about deleting parody characters from the wiki DESPITE THEM BEING JOKES! In fact, he left for a while since he was mad about that and some other stuff. Now, his fate? He wasn't banned unlike Ammar, he came back and actually APOLOGIZED! Yep. Check blog posts to find it. He ended up with a good fate, and is no longer loathed (yes, I will use that word a lot in this blog) by the admins. However, the worst (no offense) of these was MarioBobFan. Not only could he not take criticism, but he was responsible for "Blog-moving". This is an act where I referred to the act of taking a page I wanted to be deleted, but moving it to a blog "so it couldn't be deleted". This was only a stupid act that contributed to the wiki going downhill. Luckily, this has been stopped, but MarioBobFan is continuing his spree of being one of the most annoying person on the wiki. He complains always about moving The Loud House page and will not let people delete his pages. I hope one day he gets put in his place. But anyways, back to how it went up. So after this, I decided to make one of my most notable blogs, "Complaint:How We're Gonna Fix This Wiki", which pointed out many issues. Many users started realizing and help came. I then later made "Complaint: You Need To Stop MarioBobFan" which I think was just me harassing him since he, ya know, was annoying. Yeah that got deleted for a legitimate reason. But still. TigerBlazer started talking about getting new admins, and soon many improvements continued.

    Modern Day

So, about a month after my original blog, I made another notable blog made about a month ago, called "How We're Gonna Fix This Wiki: Part 2", which was a self reflection and overview on how the wiki has improved. Soon after, the admin roles were revealed, and I could be more than blessed. I and a bunch of my good friends were admins. Now, me and the new admins are helping out the wiki. More stupid pages are out the window, many users have been put in their place, and ShawnTheLogoBoi especially is helping out. The wiki is still gonna need some improvements (which I'll explain after this section) and isn't as perfect as Terrible and Best TV Shows or Awful Movies is (the other wikis I have), but it's definitely an improvement. I'd say it's in the middle. The lowest so far is Rotten and Best Websites Wikis, and I'd explain, but I may actually do a cleanup act on that wiki as well. So yeah. That's the entire story focusing on how I saved- wait, I sound egotistical again. Of how me and the Rest of the wiki are saving the wiki! :D

But once again...what else needs to be improved?

    My Final Complaints

    • The first major thing that should be improved is the LIST pages. Those I mainly loathe, but have improved. Pages like Flanderization or Filler characters USED to be bad, but they were improved overtime. However, we still have a while to go, including pages like Generic Doomsday Villain, Mean popular girl/boy, etc, as the main issue is that the page focuses to much on examples and not regarding reasons why the trope is even bad. Still though, those pages are on improvement, especially MPG/B, as the entire list is being removed and we're working on reasons.
    • Next topic is still the users. I feel like the users have barely improved even after my blogs. They seemingly still can't take critcism and all hate the wrong focuses of the wiki. MarioBobFan has STILL not been banned, and that's one main pet peeve I'll keep for the rest of my time on the wiki...till he gets banned.
    1. Final major complaint is how we actual manage some stuff on the wiki. No, I'm not gonna continue ranting on a certain someone who should kick the bucket on this wiki for a while, but some stuff that's been poorly managed.
      • Firstly, somehow no one has thought of updating the frontpage. Many of the links there are broken, which will disoriante the viewer. And there's also the problem of rules and forbidden pages. Some rules haven't aged well, or fit a good tone. Some major examples are:
        • Rule 1 is "The main heading for a page is "Why He/She Sucks". If the character is under the category "Average characters", put "Bad Qualities/Good Qualities". Custom headings aren’t allowed due to being completely unnecessary and the potential of users inserting coarse language on the headings." The last part is outdated since...uhh...I think it's kinda obvious.
        • Rule 12 is "Try to be creative with an image's caption." seems kinda pointless since captions sometimes aren't even necessary, and they don't need to be "creative" necessarily.
        • Rule 17 says "Try to be professional when writing an article. That means do not go overboard with bold writing, capital letters and red writing, it'll easily seem like a hate page." Not going overboard is kinda obvious, but it fails to mention other issues, like adding biases, bad grammar, short reasonings, etc.
        • Rule 16 is "Don't just pick a "mean" character/villain and put them on this wiki, as they are needed for carrying a story along and not only that, but they're also meant to be unlikeable. This wiki is purely for characters that are badly written and just plain bad characters." This suggests you can't put any villains on the wiki, but you in fact can if they are very poorly written, even if intended to be bad. One example is my Skeebo page. Skeebo IS an antagonist, but he is so poorly written and jerkish, he deserves a page.
        • The worst one I find is Rule 11, which says "No character from the Great Characters Wiki is allowed to have their page on this wiki without discussing it with us.". Why say this when in forbidden pages it says...wait...it doesn't say anything about anything on Incredible Characters? *slaps head*
      • Nextly is also on the fact that front page is terribly made, and this is for forbidden characters. Suppai already made a blog explaining most of these, but some others should be:
        • "Princess Peach (Super Mario): Already on Incredible Characters Wiki. It may be true that she always gets kidnapped a lot in the Super Mario franchise, she has proven herself to be more than just a damsel in distress role." What's the point of adding "Already on Incredible Characters"? Wasn't that a RULE?!?
        • "Chris McLean (Total Dama) - He started Total Drama. His disregard for the campers’ safety is actually hilarious, and his unlikable moments are justified." Chris already has a page on this wiki focusing on Seasons 4-5. And yes, it actually did say "Dama", not "Drama".
        • "Donald Duck (Disney) - He is an example of why we can’t add characters just for being “mean”, and he is one of the most beloved Disney characters by the fans. However, I you wanted to make a page of him, it has to be a page that talks about his flanderization." This one is similar to Princess Peach or Eddy. Also, yes, they seriously said "However, I you wanted...", wow nice grammar!
    2. The final topic about poor management is that even with us technically being admins, we don't have admin commands yet, which I hope come soon. So we are still stuck to waiting for TigerBlazer to delete something or ban a user. And considering he's one of the only admins we can reach (Zangler doesn't really use these wikis I think), things get messy.

    The End

So I've finally finished this. It's probably my longest blog and three times the length of my other blogs. This probably won't be as popular, but I'm still happy I'm making it. So, will Loathsome Characters Wiki not be loathed by me anymore? Maybe. There's hope. I hope this trilogy has made some great points that will officially help the state of the wiki.
