NOTE: I know a Donald Duck page will never be made on the wiki but this is an imagination of how the page would look like, also don't vandalize

Disney, if you intention was to make Donald more funny via his flanderization, you have failed miserably!

Donald Duck is one of the most famous characters ever made by Walt Disney, he's a anthropomorfic duck who wears a navy blue sailor uniform and he's famous for his short temper.

Unfortunately, ever since the death of Donald's original voice actor, Clarence Nash, Donald has undergone some flanderization. While his other counterparts are likable (and got past the flanderization), the same can’t be said for his 2013 Paul Rudish Mickey Mouse shorts’ counterpart, where this Donald has gotten the most flanderization.

    Bad Qualities

Note: This will only focus on his 2013 Mickey Mouse counterpart, since Donald’s other counterparts are actually pretty likable.

    1. He's at his absolute worst in the this show, where his short-temper was exagerated to point of it becoming more irritating and unfunny to watch than actually funny.
    2. He also went from a pretty likable yet some-times short tempered duck that was famous worldwide for his cartoons and antics to an even angrier meanie that eventually became infamous for his constant short-temper.
      • Despite him going to the extreme in some early shorts like Cured Duck, those temper tantrums weren't as constant as the newer ones
    3. Donald is also pretty lazy in this show, as he normally has others do his work for him, especially Mickey and Goofy.
    4. His exagerated anger in this show is at it's worst in The Adorable Couple, where he and Daisy are angry for no reason whatsoever, what makes this even worse was that Daisy was supposed to be an ocassional kind character and not an angry one and the fact Donald is portrayed as even angrier than before.
    5. He also now treats Mickey as if he was a frenemy rather than a friend even more constantly than before, for example, in No Service, he started making fun of Mickey for no reason whatsoever, which comes off as cruel.
    6. In Down the Hatch, he literally tried to kill Mickey and Goofy due to them entering his body such as trying to eat corn so it fell on both, and in the scene where he first gets angry, he makes an evil and uncomfortable-to-look-at face which can come as creepy to some viewers.
    7. Also, in some shorts like Bronco Busted, it's shown he now barely cares about Mickey and Goofy as in one point he left them only for money, if you thought only Scrooge McDuck or evil Mickey Mouse parodies such as South Park Mickey cared for money, wait till you see this newer Donald.

    Good Qualities

    1. As mentioned earlier, Donald himself is a pretty beloved character worldwide and despite being awful in the 2013 Mickey Mouse show, he's still likable in all other Mickey Mouse media, like the old shorts, the Ducktales 2017 reboot, and the Disney Jr shows.
    2. He still has some funny moments here and there:
      • Really funny line in Cheese Wranglers in which Goofy asks Mickey to tell him and Donald about the code. In hilarious faces, they all say “The code…” Watch it here.
    3. He still cares for his friends and Daisy deep down.
      • He eventually became more likable in The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse.
    4. He often gets his comeuppance for his bad actions.
    5. He occasionally has his original personality.
    6. His new character design, apart from staying true to the original shorts, looks unique and beautiful.
    7. Tony Anselmo still does a great job voicing him.
