Billy Dilley is the main protagonist of the short-lived 2017 Disney XD show Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer. He is a 7th grade eccentric science-obsessed boy who is more observant and often willing to explore much of the creatures in Subterranea-Tania. He is voiced by Aaron Springer.
Why He Isn't Fascinating
- He's pretty much a copy of Phineas Flynn from Phineas and Ferb as both are optimistic, energetic, enthusiastic, ginger-haired, and genius boys.
- His voice is very nasally and obnoxious and totally wasted the talent of his voice actor, Aaron Springer..
- Like most of the characters in the show, his design is absolutely hideous to look at. Additionally, it looks are unfitting into a show made by Disney as it fits more in either a French or Canadian cartoon instead.
- The actions he does are extremely questionable and make him look more like a sociopathic jerk who bullies his friends.
- He gets little to no comeuppance for his actions whatsoever, even for getting his friends into trouble. This makes him a Karma Houdini.
- Much like Bubsy, he never shuts up, and that once almost got everyone to be slaves forever.
- Due to his idiocy, he can also be described as an Idiot Houdini.
- Even the other Subterraneans are aware of how annoying he can be, especially Count Wretcher. Heck, they even told him they are not his friends in the finale.
Fascinating Qualities
- He did have a point that they should go back and save the others, even after what they told him.
- He got some character development.
- He does care about his friends.
- His inventions look cool.
- He is often described as silly and optimistic at times, despite WHIF#3.
- He has a few funny moments here and there.
