The Andy Griffith Show
"Arnold Winkler" is a character who first appeared in the episode, "Opie and the Spoiled Kid". He is a friend of Opie Taylor.Arnold runs afoul of lawman Barney Fife and teaches Opie how to throw a tantrum. The loss of Opie and Arnold's baseball initiates a series of events that lead to a major moon shining bust in "The Haunted House".
Why He Sucks
He is a spoiled, bratty, whiny kid who gets his own way by earning .75 cents ($6.34 worth today) without chores while Opie earns .25 ($2.11 worth today) if he had done his chores per week.
He taught Opie to get .75 without chores and throw tantrums if he doesn't get it.
He allegally rode his bike on the sidewalks three times.
he ran on Mrs. Rodenbach's way while she was holding groceries, making her drop some of them and later ran on Barney's way, who is the police officer.
He literally ignored Barney's rule and rode on the sidewalks again, Which caused him to take his bike.
He lied to Andy by saying "I wouldn't hurt anybody" but he was trying to on purpose.
His dad did not understand until he thinks about it, He agrees.
He told his dad to send Andy to jail just because he took his bike due to him riding on the sidewalks. Which makes no sense because Andy is a responsible police officer.
The scene when he says "Nyeahh!" and Barney saying it back to him was funny.
He got punished for his actions since the show teaches about life lessons.
He did slightly mature overtime, though not saying much.
