Amanda Killman is the main antagonist of the short-lived Nickelodeon animated show Bunsen is a Beast. She is Bunsen's nemesis and a villainous mastermind who attends Muckledunk Middle School. Her right-hand girl is named Beverly. She was voiced by Kari Wahlgren.
Why We Don't Want Her Kind to Be Increased
- She is a very generic and poorly-written villain. All she attacks and hates is Bunsen and for an idiotic reason. Not because he is "evil", but because he's a beast.
- She is incredibly brain-dead. She claims that beasts are evil, yet after seeing that Bunsen isn't evil, she still attacks him.
- Hypocrisy: She hates beasts because they're evil yet she likes to be evil as well (and fails miserably). Also, even though she claims to hate Mikey (the deuteragonist), she has a secret crush on him, which feels very forced.
- Her design is lazily made, ugly and creepy, and just like the other character designs in Bunsen is a Beast. It is unfitting in a show created by Butch Hartman, as it fits more into a Canadian cartoon instead.
- The most notable issue is her teeth and red eyes. The braces and eyelashes don't help.
- Her convoluted plans are pathetic and they always backfire, while she could make easier plans and win.
- In fact, they backfire so much, that they often result in her getting attacked or being a victim to them almost once a scene, which makes her the punching bag of the show.
- As stated above, she may be just a kid, but her intelligence is below average for a villain.
- She mostly serves as a filler and a villain for the series, much like the modern Denzel Crocker from the last two seasons of The Fairly OddParents.
- Her voice is very annoying, laughable and ear-grating, and she has a nigh-unintelligible lisp, and it's worse than Jar Jar Binks's voice. no thanks to her voice actor Kari Wahlgren, who will most likely get on your last nerve, and 10 times worse than Chloe Carmichael, another annoying character voiced by Wahlgren.
- While the other characters became more tolerable and likable as season 1 and the series went on, she did not.
- She, along with Mikey and Bunsen, was responsible for the death of Butch Hartman's career at Nickelodeon.
Redeeming Qualities
- Whenever she gets angry or fails, she comes off as unintentionally funny.
- In "Wilda Beast", when Mikey was being attacked by Wilda's boyfriend, Amanda came to his rescue and defeated the monster.
- She sometimes gets her comeuppance for her actions; thus this does not make her a Karma Houdini.
- When her voice is not ear-piercing, her voice for Kari Wahlgren can be tolerable, similar to Chloe Carmichael.
